The core team at DAM have been together a long time now, we know each others strengths inside out and have a fantastic team mentality. We've got a great mix of skills and personalities, but above all we get on well and enjoy coming to work each day, which we all know helps a lot!
Our company ethos is something we're all committed to as verbalised in our core values. This helps us as a team work together to meet the expectations of our clients and surpass them whenever we can. The ultimate goal of all of our work is to provide a fantastic return on investment to every one of our clients, and have a great time whilst doing it.
We love a challenge, and particularly enjoy delivering niche projects that require more thought than your average design brief. This really shows in the diversity of our portfolio and client list and helps keep us all stimulated and ready for the next brief, what ever that may be.
DAM is my baby, so to speak. I started in business back in 2001 after many years designing and account managing for various agencies. My aim back then was to run a design agency that offers great service, great value for money and above all great design, produced with an enthusiasm that really shines through. I am pleased to say that I've been successfully doing that for 15 years now and I'm still loving every minute of it!
My role at DAM is client liaison, sales, and generally managing the business, so if you're interested in anything we do you can talk to me. I have a particular interest in helping businesses communicate their brand in the best way possible. To do this I facilitate meetings with management teams and key stakeholders to uncover the true business ethos and core values. I then strategise a plan to communicate the messages both internally and externally with the end result of improvng the business's culture, which drives efficiency and leads to a healthier bottom line!
I would love to hear from you should you have any design requirements or questions about anything we're up to, and if I pop round, mine's a cup of tea, milk, no sugar.
I'm the senior designer in the DAM studio with responsibility for the aesthetics of all the jobs which come through the studio.
I'm happy to turn my hand to websites but I really love a good printed brochure! I also ensure all the bits of technology we use are all happy and talking to each other - creative and technical!
Out of the studio, I like taking photos and engaging in all manner of motorsport and driving-related adventures. In the past few years these have included a banger rally, trackdays, getting my race licence and doing some actual racing, and I've even driven a Hummer across the Sahara!
I'm clearly in good company at DAM with our many motorsport-related clients and promotions, not to mention the DAM Racing Porsche 944 in which I shared drives with one of our clients.
I joined DAM in 2015 as Non-Exec Chairman. Having worked with the team on a number of projects in the past, when the opportunity arrose to join I couldn't wait! My role is to work on the strategy for the buisness and liaise with high level clients and business prospects. I thoroughly enjoy meeting business people from all kinds of industries and my role at DAM allows me to help them to build or enhance a robust sales and marketing strategy that can be implimented by the team.
I'm well known for getting up early and like to do business over breakfast so if you'd like to discuss your business with me, a morning coffee sounds great!
Gareth is based in DAM's Welsh office near Cardiff.
I joined DAM in the summer of 2009. I am a qualified Chartered Management Accountant and was previously Financial Controller of National Express Ltd.
After living in Australia for three years where I contracted for the Department of Transport and Lend Lease, I came home to run the accounts of a small chain of restaurants.
Working as part of a team with DAM is both fun and rewarding - and I don't know where they'd be without me!
I do enjoy cycling: a nice thirty miler when I'm not number crunching.
I joined DAM in May 2016 after working in customer service for a few years, including for Pets at Home (I love anything to do with animals!) However it was time to build a career foundation. I studied Media, English and Drama for my A Levels, so when I saw such a creative and media-based apprenticeship with DAM I didn’t hesitate!
My role is a mixed bag including design work, managing social media pages for clients and digital marketing tasks like writing blogs.
I like to take a positive and friendly approach to life. In my spare time you will probably find me cleaning out animals, singing at the odd gig or watching Friends!
After completing my Events degree in Cardiff, I was lucky enough to fall straight into my role here at DAM. Throughout my time here, I have been lucky enough to work on some great projects and business development.
My role within the company is mainly customer support, and I have been known to be called 'The CRM Genius': so if you have any questions about that, I'm your girl :-)
In my spare time you will probably find me shopping or in a nail bar, or most likely both!
